1) "Awesome"
2) World of Warcraft recently had it's 4th anniversary. It is not 10 years old.
2) You are not a GM. I doubt you have a level 80 character.
3) You do not "move faster" at level 80. At level 70 you can buy an epic flying mount and your mounted movement speed while flying is 300%.
4) As a review of the game, yours sucks. Who cares if "There are lots of people that use short forms LOL, OMG, LMAO, etc."
5) Die in a fire, lying anonymously is the dumbest thing you could conceive of.
World of Warcraft:
Considered by many serious games to be addictive to the point where there are support groups to help users quit playing, World of Warcraft is an immersive game that takes you to the world of Azeroth where you battle through many adventures, dungeons and battlefields on your journey to level 80. There are many servers to choose from, with different focus for different playstyles: Player vs Environment, Player vs Player and Role Playing PvE or PvP. World of Warcraft has over 11 million subscribers, and each server can have as many as 40,000 players on it.
On your way to level 80 you will pursue quests objectives, and follow a deep storyline developed over a decade in the Warcraft universe. Heroes from the Warcraft II and III games can be interacted with as you advance in power and lore. You can also join a guild, a collection of other players with the same goals as you, be it social, PvP or raiding interests. Once you reach level 80 you will begin to raid for the best gear and rewards. Raids are large multi-player instances filled with difficult encounters and epic loot, in either 10 or 25 man, normal or hard mode settings.
The first installment of World of Warcraft had a level cap of 60, Burning Crusade was 70, and the Wrath of the Lich King is 80. The next expansion Cataclysm is set for a cap of 85.
Players can choose Alliance or Horde, each with it's own races. Alliance field the Humans, Night Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes and Draenei, with Worgen arriving in the expansion. Horde boast the Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, Undead and Blood Elves, with Goblins arriving with Cataclysm. Each race has a number of possible classes to play and there are 10 all in all: Warrior, Paladin, Priest, Druid, Rogue, Mage, Warlock, Shaman, Hunter and the hero class the Death Knight.
If you have the time to play many hours every week you will probably level many characters to 80 and find your favourite pursuits along the way. If you don't you'll probably find the game very exciting as you won't suffer the repetition those with many characters do.
This is the only game I have every played for longer than 100 hours... and by now I have in excess of 400 days played over the last 4 and a half years. Yeah, I may be one of those addicts :)
Best:
Well developed universe.
Easy to learn, hard to master.
Great support.
Regular updates.
Worst:
Addictive.
Deal with people like Mr Awsom above who need to go outside and get a tan.
